Delaya Qualifies Area 22 Novice Final

Details

On Sunday 4^th October 2009 at Field House Equestrian Centre, Richard and Delaya, qualified the Area 22 Novice Final

The Final will be held at the end of the winter season. It was a good achievement by the pair as it was only Delayas 2^nd show back after her holiday.

A delighted Richard said Im so pleased her, she has jumped so well today and deserves to qualify for this final

Zonnekoning II Qulafies Discovery Second Rounds 2010

Details

On Wednesday 19^th August at Hargate Equestrian Centre Zonnekoning II jumped his fourth double clear Discovery, qualifying him for the second rounds in 2010.

It is great to them all done and dusted this early on Commented a delighted Richard. He jumped really well and has done all summer. He really deserved to get this last double clear, he has put in so much effort

Victory For Vaskaria

Details

On Sunday 16^th August at Hargate Equestrian Centre Vaskaria took victory in the National Amateur 1.20 qualifier. Being the sole clear round in the first round a jump off was not necessary to claim the winners prize and the qualification for the second rounds.

A delighted Richard commented She jumped superbly and think it was a win that she really deserves for all the effort she has put in this summer especially in the newcomers second rounds and we of course delighted to qualify for the amateur second rounds

Vaskaria now joins Vamos as qualified ride for an amateur second round, with Vamos already qualified for the 1.10 amateur class.

Zonnekoning II Qualifies British Novice Second Rounds 2010

Details

On Sunday the 12th July at Hargate Equestrian Centre, Zonnekoning II secured his fourth double clear British Novice for the second rounds in 2010.

A delighted Richard commented " He has done really well to get them out of the way so quickly and we can now look forward to the second rounds" "He greatly deserves to have achieved this because of all the effort he has put in"

Vamos Returns!

Details

On saturday 23rd May at Hargate Equestrian Centre Vamos made her return to competition, after a her holiday with a bang.

Having had a rest after the Blue chip championships, Vamos competed along side Delaya in the 1.10m Amateur championship qualifier. Both horses made it through to the jump off, but sadly a little mistake , resulting in a fence being lowered, cost Delaya a quailfying place however last to go on vamos, Richard jumped a neat double clear to secure 4th place and therefore qualifying her for the final.

A surprised Richard commented " Delaya was really unlucky today, but jumping really well. As this was Vamos's first show back, I didn't want to go to fast, but just give her a nice ride round and being last to go I knew that good a clear would be enough to qualify and I wouldn't have to do anything else"

"We didn't put her in the class with qualifying in mind, we just wanted to give her a nice show back, qualifying was just a big bonus!"

Delaya Quafilies Ken Beeston Final

Details

On Wednesday 13th May, Richard and Delaya were at Hargate Equestrian and a good solid performance saw them claim a qualifying place for the Ken Beeston Final to be held at the BSJA Area 21 show later in the summer.

A delighted Richard said " Delaya did really well, she has learnt a lot from her trip to wales and this is proof of it and hopefully things will continue in the same manner from this point on"

Vamos Does It Again!

Details

On Wednesday 11th March 2009, at Solihull Riding Club Vamos was in fine form again winning the newcomers class.

"I'm really pleased with her" said Richard " As far as I Know she has never been to Solihull and it is spooky in there" " I wasn't expecting her to do anything, we just wanted a nice ride round to give her experience of different places and jumps, so this was not expected"

This is a good result for the pair going forward to the future and forming a good partnership.
