The stunning daughter or Richard's mare Quarole Z by the Beech House Studs stallion Why me, died after an artery burst in her head causing huge amounts of blood loss and other complications. The vets at Poole House, did everything they humanly possible to save her life, but they were helpless.
There was nothing anyone could have done and there was no way that anybody could have predicted it would happen.

A Tribute To Sam The Dog
It is with a Heavy heart that we announce the death of Sam, the farm dog at the age of 15. He passed away peacefully, on 7th January 2012.
Although Sam, never got mention here on the website before, he was the very much loved dog of the family, he used to go in the tractors, and the horsebox where ever it went.
He made sure the mice where kept well under control and anyone who was working on or in the tractor were doing their job.
A very sad Richard commented I cant believe it, first Rocky and now Sam, I will miss him hugely, he was always there, and he always was a good friend to me. He used to always sleep by my bed, and stay with me when I was ill or upset. A truly wonderful Dog who will never be forgotten and always missed
