Quarole Z Foaled

 

On Monday 8th August 2011 at the Beech House Stud, in Staffordshire, Quarole Z gave birth to a beautiful filly foal by the stud’s promising young stallion Why Me.
Our thanks go to Derek Morton and Richard Hope, and everyone at the stud for their care of them both.

Zonnekoning II Qualfies Scope Festival 2011

 

On Saturday 6th August 2011 at the Area 22 show Zonnekoning II jumped a fantastic double clear to finish 4th and qualify for the British Show Jumping Scope Festival of Show Jumping adventurer class.
A thrilled Richard said “I can’t believe it, this is the first qualifier he has jumped this year and he has gone and qualified, with a fantastic round” “I am so pleased with his rounds and I look forward to going to scope again with him”

Vamos Has a Filly

 

It is with great delight we can announce that Vamos has had a beautiful baby filly foal, by the Beech House Stud’s Stallion Why Me.
She was born at 3.40 am this morning (11th July 2011) at Beech House Stud in Staffordshire. Our thanks go to Derek Morton and Richard Hope and everyone at the stud for all their help and for foaling her successfully.
Both Vamos and her foal, we are pleased to report are doing well.
A thrilled Richard commented “It’s fantastic I am so thrilled it has all gone okay . . . . Now we will have to think of a suitable name for her!”

Miss Cavalier Lady Qualifies for Ken Beeston Final

 

On 15th June 2011 at Hargate Equestrian Centre Miss Cavalier Lady jumped a lovely double clear and finished in 4th place to claim qualification for the final at the Area 21 show later this year. This was a great result for a relatively new partnership.
Richard said “I am so pleased with the way she went today; it was great result for her, especially as we still are busy getting to know each other and I look forward to the future with her”

Two New Horses Arrive

 

We are delighted to announce the arrival of two new horses to Richard’s string. One is a 5year old Irish bred horse and the other 7 year old Dutch bred mare.

Richard will be teaching the Pony Club at Hargate Equestrian centre from 5.30pm onwards on the following Dates.

Wednesday – 29th June

Matetsi

 

We would like to announce Matetsi has been gone to international Para rider Deena Webster, with a view to gaining qualification and selection for the Para Olympic Games.
Matetsi, won and was placed in many great classes for Richard of the course of their partnership, and they are too numerous to mention, however we do have to mention two outstanding results which are;
4th in the Small tour Young Riders grand prix Wales and the west in 2007
8th in the Young Rider B and C Final at the BSJA Scope festival of show jumping 2006.
An emotional Richard commented “He has been a fantastic and wonderful horse for me, I have done and learnt so much with him and I wish Deena and him every success”

Vaskaria Qualifies Foxhunter 2nd Rounds 2011

 

On the 30th February 2011, at Field House Equestrian Centre Vaskaria jumped her 4th and final double clear in the foxhunter class qualifying her for the 2nd rounds 2011.
A delighted Richard commented “I’m so pleased with her, she deserved to get her last double clear and I am looking forward to the challenge of the 2nd rounds with her this summer”
